LEE
HIGH SCHOOL
CLASS OF
1960 REUNION
50th
Reunion in 2010
Dear Classmates,
I am happy to report the following:
34 people attended our 45th reunion which was held at the Locker Room
on Oct. 8. The party was very upbeat and I think everyone had a good get
together. Morgan Davis took pictures which I hope he places on this website
in the near future.
Treasury: Having realized a return of $60 from the
Locker Room, we now have $373.13 in our account. That includes a deduction
of $50 of a memorial patio brick soon to be installed at the H. S.
50th Reunion: By a strong vote of those at the 45th,
it was decided to hold the 50th in Oct. 2010 on the weekend called Lee
Founders' Day weekend. We would try to have an informal get together on
Friday night , participate in the parade on Saturday A. M. and have a
sit-down dinner at a good restaurant on Saturday night. The Town sets
the date for Founder's Weekend well in advance. When the date is set ,
I will call a meeting of those interested in helping to set the date and
inform everyone.
Try to keep your eye on our website for news and updates. You can also
send notes to our classmates via the web. Try it- You will probably like
it!!!!
Best Wishes to all the members of our great class,
Tom C. 10/11/05
Book regarding David Curley
The title of the book that describes how our classmate David Curley died
is "Ten Hours Until Dawn," by Michael Tougias. Thank You to
Ted and Sue Cinella for telling us about the book.
Below are the messages received from
your classmates for posting on the website.
To All the great members of the brightest class ever to
graduate from Lee High School.
I hope you are well and proud .
Best Wishes, Tom Consolati 7/30/05
To the class of "60" ! Has it really
been 45 years? We can't stop Father time from aging us, BUT we can
fight back by living life to its fullest! I sure do! I retired from
my regular job at Energizer after 37 years! After 6 weeks I was
bored to death so of all things, I have now started my second career
as a law officer!! Yep that's right I'm now Deputy Sheriff David
Tripp! Next time your driving through Bennington VT and see some
officer directing traffic, take a close look, it could be me! See
you at the Locker Room in October! David Tripp 8/7/05
Deputy Sheriff Tripp--Somehow that has a good
ring to it !! Great to hear from you. Tom C. 8/8/05
Dear Classmates,
Once again it's time to gather. I do hope Lee people, who don't
have to travel, will make an effort to stop in at the Locker Room.
Those of us who do travel would love to see all of the local classmates.
Also, would like to encourage those who attend to bring ideas for
a great 50th.
Looking forward to seeing you soon. God bless. Bev Navin
