October Mountain State Forest

Mount Greylock
  
At 3,491 feet, Mount Greylock is the highest peak in Massachusetts. Camping, hiking and a great view from the top.

Laurel Lake

The Berkshire Scenic Railroad
   The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum's primary mission is to foster interest in the history of railroading in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts through the provision of safe, educational, and entertaining tourist train rides between Lenox and Stockbridge.   637-2210
Tyringham Cobble
   Two miles of trails, including a section of the Appalachian Trail, pass over the twin knobs of Tyringham Cobble offering spectacular views of Tyringham Valley.   298-3239
Ventford Hall
   Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and declared an official project of “Save America’s Treasures,” a Millennium program of Hillary Rodham Clinton and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Ventfort Hall is the home of The Museum of the Gilded Age.   637-3206

Tekoa in Russell to the picturesque village green in Lee, the Jacob's Ladder Scenic Byway winds through the small towns of Russell, Huntington, Chester, Becket and Lee, providing views of the Wild and Scenic Westfield River along the way.
